Meet the Bold Dubai Billionaire, Hussain Sajwani

DAMAC Properties is an investment established by Hussain Sajwani. Sajwani also acts as the chairman of this global property development company. The company boasts of over 2000 employees and has won the hearts of many as an established firm in the luxury property development market. DAMAC Properties shares are traded on the Dubai Financial Market.

Hussain Sajwani and his company are known for always giving a hand to the less fortunate in the society, in 2013, he handed a cheque of AED two million to a campaign whose main agenda was to clothe a million affected children across the world. In association with the Dubai government, Hussain Sajwani (@hussainsajwani) has tried to improve the lives of people around the world. Together with the Emirates Red Crescent, a humanitarian organization, the Ramadhan initiative has helped raise AED 120 million.

Hussain Sajwani’s vast experience in the field of property development has seen his company expand its projects to other cities of the world. DAMAC Properties now owns high-end properties in big cities like Jeddah, Riyadh, London, Doha and Dubai. He has previously joined forces with Donald Trump, the current leader of the United States of America who also happens to be a real estate mogul. While celebrating his election victory, Mr. Trump extolled Sajwani who built the Trump International Course in Dubai.

Under his watch, DAMAC Properties has made huge strides in the industry by establishing business links with leading global brands. Some of the luxury apartments have their interiors designed by Italian fashion-houses Fendi and Versace. His luxury villas have also been styled by Bugatti and have conceptualized Paramount Hotels and Resorts to achieve a desired level of opulence. This tremendous growth of the company can be attributed to the vision and the extraordinary skills of Sajwani.

Hussain Sajwani started his career at GASCO, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Oil Company where he worked as a Contracts Manager. His tenure at the company was short-lived and in 1982, Sajwani started his own catering business. Besides developing infrastructure across the Middle East, DAMAC Properties has provided job opportunities to thousands of people.
